CHEWELAH POLICE DEPARTMENT

Notes from the Chief

Greetings Chewelah,

Welcome to the City's web site.    We will be using the Police Department's portion of this website to keep you updated on what's going on with us and safety issues throughout the city.  I recommend you check this site often so that you don't miss any information that we are promoting.   Because safety concerns tend to change fairly often, this page will be continually updated.  I have recently updated my message to the City.  Click below on Notes from the Chief of Police.

It's that time of year when the conditions for traveling around the region can change in an hour or less.  Please do not take unnecessary chances.   We want everyone to get to their destinations safe and sound.  And if it's not safe to travel, we would prefer you stay home until it is safe.   Local TV and Radio stations provide information on travel conditions.   Another good site is the Washington State Department of Transportation Web Site.   They have up to the minute information on travel throughout the entire state.   Click here to view their site.

Please BE SAFE!!

Neighborhood Watch

The Chewelah Neighborhood Watch is working hard to help us protect the citizens.   If you would like more information or are interested in joining, please click here.

Rx4Life

The City of Chewelah Police Department is proud to endorse the Rx4Life program.   It has and will continue to save lives.    If you would like more information about this VERY worthwhile program contact Chief Anderson or check our their webpage www.rx4lifechewelah.org/
